Description
One of three pieces that form my final work for my university degree and the series "Photographs of Me, But They Are Not Me".
Each piece symbolises a part of me that people see, and sometimes that's the only side of me they will see. People then think of me in this specific role, that however is not who I am. Each of these visions I have created based upon these sides of me are but a part of what makes me, me.
Each piece is fragmented, and distorted in order to represent this, to engage the viewer in trying to dissect and analyse who I am, and any other person for that matter.
Each piece is created through Liquid Emulsion/Liquid Light upon Daler canvas board, processed, then treated with fixer solution once again and inadequately washed. Once dry, indian ink is then applied in an illustrative style, and bled.

I kind of get what you mean, I have this uncanny ability to picture how others see me in their own eyes - and it differs greatly from person to person! - Does everyone get that feeling or am I just demented?? - but yeah, great work. Interesting concept and the finished work looks great!!
