Description
I got pretty bored during a friday night in.
Resulted me in doing this self-portrait with me in a pretty awesome pose. Very simliar to the monocolour digital sketches I produced awhile back, only this time using traditional materials.
Created by firstly sketching the outline, then adding a smooth watercolour wash to the areas of deep shadow or tone.
After this was dry I spent a LONG time masking taping the drawn area to protect it from ink splatting for the background. After this I overlayed the sketch with ink.
